TVBS (also known as "Wireless Satellite TV Station" or collectively "TVBS Wireless Satellite TV Station", the company name is Lianyi Production Co., Ltd.) is the first satellite TV station in Taiwan. It was launched on September 28, 1993. premiered on 1st. It was jointly established by Hong Kong Television Broadcasting Co., Ltd. (referred to as "TVB") and Taiwan's Era Group.
